WHAT HAPPENS FIRST?

Use the contact form to ask questions or express your interest and whether you’d like to be contacted to discuss if I can help. Supposing we can work together, a free 30-minute online or in-person consultation will be arranged to identify your values and goals. I will listen to your voice, and together, we will create a plan and talk about songs, music genres, anything related to your voice, and, if relevant, performances or future events. You can ask questions, express concerns, and ensure I know of any particular learning needs and well-being issues.

HOW DOES TEACHING ONLINE WORK?

You’ll need a stable wifi connection, a device to operate Zoom, and a device to play backing tracks. This works well if you are familiar with online meetings or lessons. If you are new to this, setting up Zoom is straightforward. You’ll need to download the software and create an account. I will advise you on how to do all of this and how to alter the settings in Zoom to accommodate the best listening experience. I will send you a link to the online meeting before each lesson.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SINGING LESSONS?

After checking in with you regarding your general well-being and answering any questions you may have, we will warm up your voice and go through your vocal workout, which will directly relate to your singing material. The song will be worked on in small, manageable sections so you will be set up to succeed. Vocal technique will be applied, and performance elements will be added. This is all paced at a level that suits you. Depending on your previous experience and dedication to home practice between lessons, achieving your goals may take only a few lessons or several months of weekly lessons.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Online and in-person lessons can be rearranged to another time with at least 24 hours' advance notice. I take a view on exceptional circumstances or emergencies, but please alert me as soon as possible. Payment is taken in advance, and no-shows will not receive a refund. You must book and pay for another lesson if you don't turn up.
